The final segment of my history setting

The Nameless One and The Bird

At an Ealier time that day- The Dominion of Tarsus.

And so it came to be that the continent in which the other three races had been created upon was a very beautiful rugged land, it was surounded by fleets of islands and in many places it had mountains. . .One of them being around the size of the tree High King Aterous had bloomed for the elves. For Aterous, or Aitrus as this kind often knows him as had created a huge mountain that is said to be the beginning of all magic- though that is known to be false it is very possible that it is the beginning of magic for the kind that lived there. From this mountain which is not tipped in snow –but in rare crystals that melt when the sun reaches them- falls the magical water that happens to be called Krn Falls, and leads into the Krn river.

Indeed it is a marvel to be seen. . .water full of magic slipping to the ground from thousands of feet up. The magic involved as well as hight makes it all the more dramatic too! But shortly after the water reaches the ground it loses its magic. Though this, and the true magic of the falls was not known till the late days of the Age Of Wars.

It also happened that from the very beginning two of these races met. These were the orcs – beings of bulk and hand to hand battle mostly yet also of the night and harsh lands for they could run a thousand miles and not fall it is said – and also the trolls, which are beings of tusk and tooth and quite addept with sorrcery and slyness.

Though before I set my desciptions of the two races that come to play most, I shall tell you of the Sytear(p. sigh-te-ar), the race that mostly made action behind the lines. Little is said of them except that there are to kinds of this being. . .though the names be odd and simple. . .

Goatear ( p. go-a-tee-ar & ca-tee-ar) and Catear. The Goatear were created for higher elevations, the lower torso of there body being that of a goat. They are around 3-4 feet tall and often more bulky than the Catear, definiatly more fit for hand-to-hand combat.

The Catear are creatures of stealth and darkness much more than that of the Goatear. They are often more slender and fit for poisons and treachory than hand-to-hand battling. They like to live in the low rainforest places of Tarsus and are especially fond of the area in which the elves live. These were least often seen.

As a whole the Sytear are usually found untrustworthy and sinister and most choose to fight for their own kind other than an alliance of the orc and trolls or whatnot. But some are found to be loyal, though rare. There is no more mentioned really of these creatures other than a few appearing behind the lines.

The Orcs have large stocky bodies around 4-5 ½ feet long, much like the dwarves for also they are strong and have many muscles. Indeed they had been created with an ability to think up treachory just as trolls for born with. The orcs often are green, brownish or yellowed skinned and not a very lovely think to look upon.

The trolls indeed are treachorous and sly, very addept in the dark magic for their bodies take the torture well. They vary between 6-7feet tall and are very slender. Skin differs though mostly it is a green, blue, or purple color. They have ears pointed as the elfs but much longer and tipped on the top than any of that race.

So here is the telling of what condemmed the Races of The Orcs and Trolls;

Chief Tortu Dippeyoki(p. dee-pee-yook-eye)Goretooth’s daughter (for yes, these races have a tendency to reproduce faster then others) Helesma (heals-ma)Feekya Goretooth of the Trolls sat on the bank of the Northern tip of Tarsus, which was called Cape of Aitrus in those days, she was pondering the idea for her tribe of what to do with the last feather. A tribal meeting was scheduled for that night, it was going to be that night they decided on what do wish for. . no matter what they had yelped. She didn’t want her people to waste it so she decided to rummage best she could and come up with something grand.

She had been pondering on the rules of magic, for it had many. For instance one that she thought of most was that you could not take magic from somone else if they were unwilling to lend it. She thought this very ill fortuned for what if it came to battle? It would be very convenient to strip somone of there magic to the very core and more, so easily killing them.

Helesma thought more of the many limits magic had, and thought that it would be nice if you could cast a sort of. . .curse on somone to bring them bad luck over time- though it would have to take items and a new magic kind to do this, new rules and all. Then it hit her that this was a perfect idea and she began ponder what exactly they might wish for.

~Late night, tribal meeting~

Helesma precented her thoughts before the two Cheifs- Tortu and Gormok Sise Bloodfang (the orc leader). She yelled that this was the way to make them great, taken by some odd spirit it seemed all a sudden. . .she pranced maddly telling more and more of how this magic would save them and help them. . . she yelled and danced around the fire and soon more than half the village was with her. The chiefs were taken too, excited by the proposition. . . So it happened that they wished for Dark Magic. And right after they did it they felt sick. . . felt bad. . .but they had not time to ponder and keep these feelings for it was then he appeared.

He was beautiful and very intimidating, he was powerful and made those around him feel like mice under the eyes of a eagle. His body was 7feet tall, and by no means was he bulky. He had little muscles but much strength and looked to anyone like an obvious powerful magic user. And indeed he was. His skin was a pale blue-black-grey. He resembled much of the likeness of an elf though he was not any named creature or being that ever existed. He wore robes of black and blue, crudely wrapped around him.His hair was also black and he had endless pits of eyes. . .deep and black and uncaring to those whose heads sat upon their shoulders but to the orcs and trolls he was a most divine, caring things they ever did set their eyes upon.

All they had towards him was pity. . .

Far up in the trees near the camp sat a bird of silver wings and golden eyes. His amazing figure was in mourning though, silver tears dropping many yards down to the ground. His eyes were so sad that even if you had been in the most happiest of moods when you saw him you would burst into tears of worry and distress. The Bird had pity for the beings. . .pity for the whole world that this summoning would affect, but this was fate and he did not change the corse that was now set out. For the beings must do it themselves. And so the bird took flight among the trees away from camp. Then he vanished. .midair. And so he went to the Palace of Future and History once again.

Many years past, the Nameless one coming into almost first rule of all the races. And then Aterous and some other heroes put an end to the Beast and locked him up in chains for about a thousand years.

And so past many Happy years dragonriders became leaders of the dominions always rising more and more in power, elves separated themselves from the other races, for they wished to live their lives out in peace and alone with their perfect kind or so it often seemed. Few of the elves were seen for many years . . .the race of trolls and orcs were banished from the joyous place though the 3thrd race lived on Neveren always and never got to meet the other races. Soon even the memories of what happened and of the Nameless One and the trolls, orcs the elusive Sytear and even mighty Aterous himself became history, and that became a thing looked down upon as falsehood and myth. . .until it was almost forgotton and remembered by few but those few still keep in their hearts preciously what really happened in the early days. . . in The Beginning.

The secret race that still remains, never knowing of the other races or polluted by impurity of what had taken place was never found though. . .all that was known of them is that they are the Tahien who live on the place that is outside of The Palace of Future and History.

So you may take my tale as myth, as legend and petty stories made up to amuse myself and others or yarns past down from generation. . .and the documents I got this information from false, though back in the old times why would somone make up a tale as that? For it is obvious even with magic around the date of this document. But some people I suppose will never be able to accept the truth. But I say we will see Aterous again, and when He comes I will be ready I swear it if I still live!

~Nordvin, outcast son of a great writer of history and old documents among the Nymphien kind~

Here Begins The Book Of Elindain, the story of The Resummoning of The Nameless one and the heroes, many who died for the cause put a stop to it.
