shri mangesha

From a visit to Goa.

       Shree Mangesha
From Mount Kailasa now must Siva go,
Since all is lost to fair Parvati’s dice.
Until to gentle Goa he is come
To Kushatali, there to dream and muse.
Until Parvati searching for him there
In forests thick and dark and full of dread,
A tiger spies, and being much afraid,
For Siva shouts, for help, and with her cries
Of fear and terror summons up her lord
Who as Mangesha, brave with noble heart,
Her saviour is, and virile , young and strong.
The Lord of all, and as her Lord,
Her Love
