a poetic imagery of the Judgement Day. i know it's a bit morbid and everything.. probably influenced by the four tests i took today.. one of them was Filipino and the story we had to read was about a janitor who killed his boss and got shot by a security guard... optimistic, right? Raging chaos surrounded me, and my hand has none to hold, my loneliness has come upon me, as I am now weak and old. As the people rush, a priest proclaims: "The lord is angry with all the nations," his voice, I hear, loud amidst screams, "We are all guilty, without exemptions." "He has doomed us and given us over, to death we all shall pass. the slain shall be cast out, flat and dead against the grass. "The mountains shall run with our blood, a fiery furnace it shall withstand, as the heavens above shall be rolled up like a scroll, So hear, people, and understand." His words were deep inside me, the message forever clear, as the storm rages onward, as I know my doom is near.
