Be With Us
By rilLie
04 August 2006
This was a composition last year. I had to do a class prayer but I was in a mood to write poems. So, I made both. *This is the Class Prayer of Grade Six, Section One batch 2005-2006, Assumption Antipolo*. Enjoy! Oh yeah.. and originally performed (rap style) by: Paula Miranda, my seatmate! :)

Be with us, O Lord, we pray,

help us to do good everyday,

may we always choose the right path,

protect us from the devil's wrath.

I hope that these simple but powerful words will always come to your mind when you reach the crossroads of life, as we all do. Well done.

To me, the main thing about prayer is simplicity. Your prayer says more in four lines than some prayers do in forty.
Many thanks.
