Tender Moment

Lost in that tender moment,
Wrapped in your loving arms.
I lie awake my darling,
And dream of your many charms.

Those few precious hours,
I cherish each time.
Hold them deep in my heart
Till next time you're mine.

Maybe, all I have now
Is just dreams of you.
But, till the next time,
Those will just have to do.

Until I can hold you,
Kiss you, caress you.
And do I dare mention,
Slowly undress you!

Drink from your lips,
mmm, just like wine.
Just being with you
Is simply divine.

I often thing poetry works best when it expresses simple honest emotions. And this one said what it wanted to say clearly with genuine sentiment. And also you have gone to the trouble of giving it a structure and making it rhyme

A really beautiful expression of genuine love. I adored it. Well done.
