White Ink
By brook_rivers
18 August 2006
This poem is inspired by Helen Cixous & will hopefully give Womanhood another boost on this battle that has broken out on the poetry section!!!

I am writing in white ink.

Not the stereotypical pink.

Colourless, invisible words

Are waiting for the revelation

Of the untouched fruits of nature

Which are longing to be suckled,

Devoured; the taste of purity and life…..

                                                         ……will spill forth one day

And wipe over the

Bold, Black print of Man.

Wipe over the bold, black print of man?

You are obviously not familiar with any of the outpourings from MangoTheChutneyMan! It'd take a damn site more than the fruits of nature to wipe out HIS monolithic works! Something more akin to an atomic bomb would be my choice of weapon to attempt such a feat.

Wash your mouth out, Ms. Rivers!

The new Virginia Woolf? In these days when JK Rowling outsells every male writer on the planet - is the militant feminist undercurrent still relevant?

I enjoyed the piece anyway - very accomplished style.

Will some one please explain the mango chutney man to me?!!!

Atomic bomb! I dont think so Mr Givitsum - coz you ain't seen my fruits! LOL

As to Talisker very true we should not need to point this out to men but I dont think they have quite grasped this fact yet, they are indeed blinded by their egos!

My Dear Ms Rivers,

If you are unaware of the thunderclap that is MangoTheChutneyMan either you are ignorant beyond redemption; or have been holidaying on the dark side of the moon. The earth has moved since you poped put for a fag. Seisemographic plates have swapped their moorings and poetic literature will never be the same.

MangoTheChutneyMan has redefined the art of the neo- romantic poet. His seminal work on unrequited love : 'Fuck Me . Me Tart's Gone AWOL' was published on this site and lead to nothing short of a sensation. His subsequent rediscovery of platonic longing;' She Give Me A Mexican Mule's Length' followed to equal acclaim. Since then, nothing. Doubtless exhausted, he has fallen silent. if you can assist with his whereabouts contact me or Givitsum.

Slan!
