Things are seldom what they seem-W.S.Gilbert

Granma we love you
Though you smell of wee.
And you always dribble
When you drink your tea

All us kids love Granma
Despite her awful fart
Because we all know
She's got a golden heart.

And she gives us fun food for tea
And afters just dripping with cream
Mummy says they are unhealthy
But to us they are like a dream.

Dad  says make the most of Granma
You'll miss her when she has to go
And I sorely do, even though
It was more than twenty years ago.

At last something on the comedy forum, eveyone seems to be so serious now, too much literature and not enough stories, so well done siddie nice little funny/sad poem, You forgot to mention the big sloppy kisses they give and teh embarassing stories they remember about you

Thanks for your time and comments.

Granny'd have laughed then blubbed a bit because she was so fondly thought of and sadly missed.

PS she never smelt of wee, dribbled or farted but had a 24 carat gold heart.

Siddie.
