Faerie Blossom
By brook_rivers
30 August 2006

The pale evening sunlight flits across the woodland space,

Highlighting fragmented areas which have escaped the shade,

Of the charming and graceful blossom trees,

Tiny petals floating in the breeze like delicate lace,

Look very closely as the light begins to slowly fade,

You will be amazed to discover what wonders one sees:

Tiny ethereal creatures with a magical glow,

Very unaccustomed to the sceptical human eye,

Purity and beauty is unique to this special kind.

At first glance you are not able to believe it , I know,

But take a minute to quietly observe, please try.

They are not imaginary

So keep an open mind:-

For faerie blossom is floating in the midst.

Nice magic mushroomness. I must be in an ethereal mood this morning. Well done!

Your poems are very like the ones I try to write and I think you manage to conjour up beautiful pictures in the imagination. Thank you, I found Faerie Blossom inspiring.
