September oh September
By sasquatch
03 September 2006
Though id join in the poetic celebrations of this special month.

'Old Jessie' is a ficticious dog by the way.

Oh look here comes September!

The leaves will soon be gold

What joy to me this month dost bring

No thoughts of getting old.

So what I say if summers past

and rain and gloom arrive

we’ll huddle by the fires light

let passions come alive.

We’ll dance beneath the falling leaves

Old Jessie by our side

A scarf you’ll wear, a jumper I

The cold we shall abide.

September oh September

Those fires will soon be lit

In reality the above is false

I think Septembers shit.

Enjoyed this. I commented that kids might enjoy Josie's poem, they'd love this one, but I'd get the sack.

Thanks Phil and Givitsum.

Glad you liked it. Maybe its better placed on comedy, i know things can get a bit fluffy and delicate around these parts. It does mostly rhyme though!
