Unstoppable Lion

Poem written for a poetry class over 10 years ago, during springtime.  From a different point of view.

Who me? A weed? I don't think so!

Who sprouts these lies? I want to know!

I want to know the arrogant fools.

Arrogant fools who speak such drool.

Don't they know? Can' they understand?

I am here to add beauty to the land?

I spread my spores upon the wind.

So they may enjoy my next of kin.

But do they enjoy us? NO! NO! NO!

All they do is MOW! MOW! MOW!

Mow us down and cut off our heads,

and pray to God that we are dead!

But woe to them for all their tryin'.

They just can't stop the Dandelion
