More of the LoveDay affair

I have not quite finished this entry yet but thought i would post up the first part to see if there are any suggestions as to what Harry Rivers should actaully end up doing. I have a rough idea of where i am going to take the story line but just wanted some other opinions!!!

Harry wearily knocked at Mrs LoveDay’s backdoor. He wasn’t particularly relishing the thought of what was about to happen but he knew that it was unavoidable. For the past week he had been deliberately swerving his lover and had not been making his usual nocturnal visits. He had hoped that by doing this Lucy LoveDay would get the hint, but the desperate dolly had caught up with him today and insisted that he met her this evening. So here he was. As he waited for Mrs LoveDay to open the door Harry fleetingly prayed that this would be quick and painless, and above all that she wouldn’t cry. He hated it when women cried when you gave them the sack. He just never knew how to respond. Harry was a bit gutted that he had to relinquish some free ‘slap ‘n’ tickle’ as they called it, especially as Lucy wasn’t bad looking for an old bird, but on the other hand this situation had gone into red hot danger zone. I mean the woman had gone absolutely bloody loopy and he most definitely didn’t want anything to do with her poisonous schemes.

He actually felt sorry for Terry LoveDay. Okay not enough to prevent Harry cuckolding the old guy but enough to realise the hardworking fellow didn’t deserve a psychotic misses who was ready to poison him just because she was having an affair. Come to think about it he didn’t need a lover like that which is precisely why he was doing this.

‘So you made it them Harry…I was beginning to think you’d forgotten me!’ Lucy LoveDay exclaimed as she opened the door to Harry. Throwing back her head she gave a dirty cackle as if to imply that it was impossible for anyone to forget her. She drew Harry into the kitchen which was full with the overpowering smell of scented candles. Lucy stood invitingly in her scarlet slip with her peroxide hair piled high on her head.

God this is going to be difficult Harry thought to himself. No. he had convinced himself that he had had his fun now and all this was getting a bit too serious for his liking. Mrs LoveDay was now pouring out two large glasses of wine. Harry decided he was going to have to cut straight to the point.

‘Look Lucy… it’s been fun but don’t you think we should call it a day now eh?’

Lucy looked up with a puzzled look on her face ‘Sorry’ she stuttered not quite believing what Harry was saying. She was absolutely sure that he could not resist her powers of seduction.

‘Come on Lucy this is going a bit too far now……’

A smile played over Lucy’s face and she composed herself instantaneously ‘Oh I see! Harry you’re getting cold feet about our little plan! Well…..’

‘..Woah lady hold on one second! It was your idea and I don’t want no part in it’

Lucy walked seductively towards Harry and in a moment had him firmly seated on a kitchen stool with the glass of wine in his hand.

‘Don’t worry baby’ Lucy said mischievously ‘I’ve got it all under control you don’t need to worry about anything!’

Lucy then leaned in for a kiss but Harry hastily drew back ‘Nah, nah it wrong I don’t want anything to do with it alright!’

‘and since when have you cared about what is wrong’ Lucy snapped back with an edge of irritation in her voice. Lucy realised this tact wouldn’t work and so then whispered in Harry’s ear: ‘Harry think of all the benefits it will bring’.

Harry now wanted to bolt out of the house, but unfortunately this was no longer an option as Lucy had draped herself all over him.

‘Apart from me … think of all the money we’ll have to spend..’

‘money?’ Harry hadn’t been informed of this part, or at least if he had he couldn’t of been listening.

‘Yes a poor little widower I’ll be….except I wont be poor because of all that lovely insurance money’

Harry hesitated for a moment, he had not considered this. After a few moments weighing up the options he decided it wasn’t worth the risk and anyway he really didn’t want to literally get lumbered with Lucy. She was far to bossy and controlling and quite frankly she was now starting to scare him. Enough was enough

Good one. She's got him by the short and curlies in a way. She could blow their little secret. By the same token, he knows what she's done, so a little leverage in both directions.

Will await your subsequent unfolding of your plot..

Best Regards
