Looking out of my window
By coolveggie85
14 September 2006
This is an old one that I wrote to express my anger at the world's ignorance.

Looking out of my window tonight
I see people looking so sad
Is it because of the state of the world
The politicians are making so bad?

I'm trying to help all the lost souls
Who wander the Earth so melancholic
I feel that I'm sensing the spiritual holes
They're filling with solutions alcoholic

If only they'd listen when I give them my views
Instead of laughing and chuckling and jeering
Why won't they listen and learn from the news
It's a nightmarish apocalypse we're nearing.

Dreadful poem!

I do hope this line is not sincere. It's not that I object to the sentiment of the poem - in fact I'm with you on some of it - but why should anyone listen to your views? State them, sell them, but please don't preach them.

Perhaps Givitsum (see previous) was right. Is this a wind up?

I'm sure I invented you a few months back. Who gave you permission to change your name from Gwynn? And who's pulling your strings these days?

Not your worst poem to date, but right up there amongst them.

Keep 'em coming..

The window choice.

My advice is to jump or phone the Samaritans. Or maybe develop a sense of humour.

Slan!
