Being housebound I spend lots of time on my PC and listening to the
radio. Most days from 11-30am until 2-00pm I listen to the Phone-In on
Radio Merseyside, its amazing what people phone about...
Roger's on the radio
I might give him a ring,
people moaning every day
about any bloody thing,
The colour of our wheelie bins
the prices in the shops
asylum seekers noisey kids
the moaning never stops.
Council tax and house repairs
junk mail, phone calls too,
traffic wardens sneaking round
booking me and you
Why don't we have a good phone day
when moaning's not allowed,
praising all thats good in life
and why were scouse and proud
Phone in for the good kids
lets give them a shout,
all our helpful neighbours
there's lots of them about.
Those happy shop assistants
who help you pack you bag,
jolly policemen singing milkmen
wives that never nag.
Lets hear it for the binmen
and the posties too,
to all that do the thankless jobs
that others wouldn't do
So lets just have one phone in
one that no-one ever moans in,
lets remove the frown for a while
and replace it with a great big smile.

but I get annoyed when somethings spelled wrongly. If I were teacher there would be marks off for that! But well done anyway. arts |

Everyone try this. Ring your local radio station and give a message to all those people who have no one in their lives to wish them happy birthday. Well done with this poem Oxy. spidey |
