How to make a grown man cry?

An experiment with tanrenga

Give the perfect gift
Steal it, break it and return it
Tarnished beyond help.

His hopes are sinking, shattered.
He is burdened with lost dreams.

Matt-
Glad you liked it. Monday is just the wrong day for an epic :)

Oli-
That won't make you friends my dear!
But you're forgiven :)

Brief and to the point, but for me very effective. I've no idea what tanrenga is, but this one works for me.

Loved it.

Phil.

Cheers Phil
Tanrenga is a precursor to hokku which is a similar form to haiku... Just having a play really.
Glad you enjoyed it
