Tiger Beer

Do you like eggs as much as me?
They remind of the time I fell out of a tree
You see what happened was with little Jimmy Jones
we ended up shattering our innocent bones

Now they call me Mr Glass like the guy in the movie
I really find movies ever so groovy

Trains are quite nice and curry with spice
Have you ever thought about holding the rice
I always choose naan with a small Tiger beer
My granny beileves she's turned into a queer.

I think she's wrong, just confused and deranged
her age makes it hard for not to feel she's estranged
She plays with herself when out in the park
but flying a kite it IS rather a lark.

Veiled genius

Bardo, whoever he or she may be, highlights the shallowness of modern life with unerring starkness. What at first glance appears a crass, shallow, piece of work in fact has hidden depths. For instance, the sudden changes in pace and rhythm between verses, surely provide a mockery of the throwaway consumerist society and it's sooundbite culture in which we live. Don't be deceived by the subject matter either. I believe there's a serious message to be taken note of here regarding the lack of security and a sense of community that pervades modern western society.

Simply sublime.
