For the love of Lyn
By william

This is written to a poet I have come to admire. She really is wonderfully talented and a full time mother too!

To dress the children and shop and clean with a mop
yet fill life with rhyme and wonderful lines
The courage to pen with a human face
and fill our souls to the brim is a talent called grace.

If only I had a mother like you
Mine was half pissed most of the time
she beat me and spat in my face many times
For sitting in the corner just writing my lines.

Oh Lyn B a mother to me.

That's a very emotional piece. Keep writing!
