Its Raining in the hills....
By Rain_in_the_hills

This is my introductory work. Please honour me with your comments.

"Shall we dance?" asks the clouds
"Yes", says the pearly drops
As they fall pitter, patter on the blue mountain tops..

"Shall We sing?" asks the wind
"yes" says the naughty mountain rain
And goes whistling through the blind oak trees...

"Shall we run?" says the village girl
"yes!" says the shining dew
And drenches her to the skin
till she pants and says " you win !"

"Tug of war"? roars the eerie pine
gurgling the rain simply thrashes it to the ground ......

"Shall i grow"? asks the grass
the kindly beads nurture them till they rise

The day wears away, night comes to stay
The sky howls with weariness, longs for solitude
Now it cries, with all its heart,
The steely drops fall on the soil,
Not dancing, not singing, not running, not playing, not growing

They are merely the incessant tear drops,
of the lonely tired sky

Have you seen the mountain rain...
dancing, singing, running...
Have you ever seen it .....laughing??
