LOVE IS DIVINE!
By JohnnyD

My views about love! Hope I will be able to generate a good round of debate among the members. Feel free to write to me about your views on LOVE because I am writing a book on the subject. Happy reading!

LOVE IS DIVINE!

Love is divine and perhaps that is the main reason why we, humans have never been able to understand the true meaning! But then, that is the real beauty of love. There are two sentences that I have coined with my experience, that differentiate we, humans from the divinity.

IF YOU HATE ONE, LOVE NONE!
IF YOU LOVE ONE, HATE NONE!

These two sentences are self explanatory, provided you understand it deeply. The first sentence speaks about human's psychic while the other denotes how wonderful is divinity. We, humans can never love in true sense because it is in our genetic disorder to hate certain things in the person we love so much. Be it your parents, siblings, friends or else the loved ones - we all hate certain things. Isn’t it? The power of love on the contrary, is not only amazing but also divine in true sense. That is how I describe love! Divine is what love is all about in reality. Do you want to know how? Well, divine is all supreme - the power that we have never seen in reality but know it well, there is a supreme power, who has created this whole universe. For the supreme never hates anyone - be it a rich man, a poor fellow, a murderer, and a dacoit or else a drug peddler. All are equal and the supreme loves one and all.

We cannot achieve total bliss without trying our level best to love all but then one can always try to do so. That way, at least the percentage of hatred among humans will lessen and love's percentage will increase. So what are you all waiting for? Love one and all without any malice and hatred. Spread love and see the joy all around you. Maybe, you will never agree with me and maybe you would! Who knows? All I am trying to say in nutshell is that LOVE IS DIVINE!

Well its difficult to work out where to begin. For a start love is not divine, its a chemical reaction produced inside of your body as a consequence of stimuli in the brain.

As for the literary style here, it was confusing. Reckon you must have written this after a good dose of christian uppers and at least half a bottle of 40%, I look forward to reading the chapter headings of your book.

I wonder which divine power created your universe, there are several currently going for the position.

Mankind is diverse, it is inevitable that some will love, hate. Those that purport divine love often do the most ghastly things, those that hate can awe with kindness. It is a consequence of our heritage as a product of nature.

I have always believed the declassification of Cannabis was a mistake.

I do think you guys should be a little less sarcastic and view the writing in the spirit (no pun intended) that it is written.

To JohnnyD, interesting stuff. Perhaps the ideas flow to quickly to keep up with. I think these heavy subjects need unpacking slowly to be enjoyed and shared, establishing definitions and terms of reference as you go along. For example what do you mean by 'a genetic disorder'?

It is an age old question, why do we chose to hate, or do hateful things? I think it is healthy to recognize that even if one is leading a relatively good life one is capable of making dreadful decisions.

To Johniebg, I wonder what you mean by 'nature'. Is it an evolutionary imprint that can not be erased, a default setting that can ultimately be overcome or something else?

As Elio writes: An old question, which probably won't be answered in the near future.
It's interesting how you explain these two, in themselves rather simple lines. Very philosophical, this one.
