Would love to know your take on this poem, so I may learn more about the art ... THE ART OF GIVING! Only when you get hurt You learn to value The art of giving As you realize Something valuable Has been snatched away You wish! You curse! You aspire for hope! You pray! Wondering, some miracle to happen The ticking sound of seconds Hits you like an atom bomb Shattering every myth Showing you the reality You promise to God You will never hurt Anyone ever again Your belief in God Multiplies hundred folds in a minute The nail has been hit perfectly At the right place And perfect time Moments turn into hours Hours into days Days into weeks As months turn into years A different you, is born As you reminisce old times You find how much has changed Your anger has subsided You start admiring others Not really knowing Why you are doing so It feels good! It makes you joyful You nod and smile to yourself The world looks lively Colourful, full of moments You give smile to strangers You have learn to share first Then starts giving It may be physical help At times emotional too! A joy within your heart Blooms into a flower The fragrance travels to distant land Bees, butterflies, birds flock towards you As they suck the beauty from you You smile To cherish their content look As you have never cherished anything before Oh, boy!
