Bound by Bone

Bound by bone
Trapped in Flesh
Negotiating aches and toilets and pain
Brought up on blisters and extra soft biscuits
Ulcers and sores bestial bandages
If there is a puppet master
He's a bloody cruel bastard
Probably got me on his sat nav
as I miss the lav
and slip again on the piss ridden floor
Oh f**ck it, I can't be bothered any more

oh yes, the puppetmaster does exist..though not a cruel bastard...more like a souless minion from hell ;)

Though this poem does remind me of the elderly. Not wishing to offend, just the line Brought up on blisters and extra soft biscuits, reminds me so. Could this be a complaint about aging? I'm intrigued.

I'm not at that stage yet. The poem is as metaphorical as literal I think because this is how I feel. At the moment I feel a bit emasculated. There are things I should be doing to fulfill me but I just don't know how to go about them. It's my personality that always lets me down: inertia, laziness and a lack of confidence. I think I'm more talented than I am too.
In short I think I expressed the physical form of this state. Do you get me?

Fair enough. I like the idea of it. And yes, I do get what you mean. I really don't have more to say, other than I enjoyed it. It's quite remarkable how missing the toilet can be taken in different ways. Well good luck with your future writing.
