Very much a work in progress

An admonition, freely given
Abrogates responsibility.
Or so they say
With their plastic smiles
And false platitudes.

Accountability, transparency
A polysyllabic cacophony.
Peel away the layers,
Delve for the truth
And only emptiness remains.

This assumption of superiority.
Patronage disguised as benevolence,
The need to know, explain and understand
Pales into insignificant gibberish.
What we really mean is:

'Here there be dragons'

It's great to read out aloud, so many euphonous words, then wallop "Here there be dragons."

Thanks for allyour time and reviews,

The pulse of this was great and as Brian says, great to read aloud.

All the best,

Phil.

Enter by mistake - doh!!

I like this a lot - is it inspired by "Dragon's Den" program on TV?

As Phil and BRN say - nice words to get your gums around.

Oli.
Thanks to all

Brian-
Thanks for your comments-I do like to have a play with words sometimes and this is meant to be read aloud :)

Phil-
The above applies :) Ta very much

Oli-
not 'dragon's den' inspired...though I have been watching it ;) More inspired by the meaningless political rhetoric that we appear ot be constantly subjected to. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks :)
