Ethan had just stamped the books Ida Andersen wanted to borrow as the door was opened. He looked up and saw F.C. enter the library. He had never seen her before and wondered what brought her at the library. " How long can I keep them?", Ida whished to know. " Three weeks. If you want to keep them longer you can get a new stamp, but don't forget to come back in time, allright?" " Sure. see you then." She put the books in her bag and walked past F.C. who walked straight to the counter. " Can I help you?" She nodded and smiled at him. " I wonder if you have some old maps of the village. I'm especially curious about the soil around the Nascent manor." " The Nascent manor... That's where the corpse was found, wasn't it?" " Indeed." " And you're investigating it?" " I am." " Well let's see what we can find out about the place." He showed her the way to a number of shelves with books on local history. " This one should contain a map of the estate." He picked out an old book. " May I ask what exactly it is you're doing?", he asked. She smiled. " I'm an archeologist. I'm sent by the Town University to lead the excavation. The real digging will mainly be done by students and volunteers. Are you interested?" He laughed. " Oh no. I'm not the kind of person for burrowing. But I can introduce you do some people. The boy who found your skeleton for instance. The girl you just saw is his sister. And I think Lydia over there would like to do a little research too." " Brilliant. Maybe I could talk to her after we have checked the old maps."
