Hi
I am looking for a script writer to work with me on a comedy for a television series. The first script is written and I have enough material and plans for a six part run.
The script is for a new sketch show with a concept that gives it a loose thread that holds the sketches together so to give it a original feel.
The basic concept is that each episode begins at a bar which is ran by three friends, then though an assortment of events the tales move away from the pub where the viewers encounter different random scenarios and events each time. Eventually each episode would finish with the chance events finishing back at the bar. The only consistent characters in the series would be the three friends who feature at the start and end, and sometimes in between.
I anyone is interested in getting involved you can contact me at scott.evans@evansvisualarts.com or just let me know on this thread and I will forward you the exisiting script and we can discuss our ideas and perhaps mould a writing partnership.
Best regards

whatsgoin'onerethen? Written by Elbowgrease (4 comments posted) 13th October 2006 | Hi Scott, just a thought... if you've got enough material for a six part run, why do you need a writing partner? | Written by CartoonScott (12 comments posted) 13th October 2006 | All my comedy is very visual, I would love to get a partner involved who wrote great monologues, character verbal exchanges. A team of writers can bring more ideas and styles than one writer perhaps. Another writer may not be considered greatly funny but could construct what we have better or suggest how to better build our scenerio and character depth. | I'd come if I was any good at it Written by William87 (30 comments posted) 3rd September 2007 | | I don't think i'm that great at, best of luck to you scott. I do like to write monologues and dialogue...but I¨'m not sure i'm that great at it? I have a script up currently that none has commented. But it has some dialogue and a monologue. Read it and see what you think, I consider it mediocre stuff. |
