I could'nt help it, but i wanted to explore this theme alittle bit more. This is it, I am not going to touch it any longer!. Must go off and write something different. Some critique, much appreciated.

Useful people like to do nothing

Whilst the useless have nothing to do,

Useless people want useful sayings

To lighten up a dull- coloured view.

Useless people like to be quoted.

They don’t like to just throw words around.

The useful don’t care about chit chat,

The useful won’t mind how you sound.

The useless enjoy the attention,

When retelling rules by the hour.

It plants the seeds of a tempting lie,

A beautiful portrait of power.

The useless act on formalities,

A platonic vision of what’s right,

They panic at the thought of a world

Where Dionysus dances at night.

So there are useless things in this world

Which neither you nor I can address.

But when life starts to feel tedious

Simply refrain-

From doing what’s best.

Some nice ideas in this. I thought the line:

They don’t like to just throw words around.

has one too many syllables in it to make for a comfortable read. I also thought the fourth stanza comes out a little awkwardly, it seems to be of a different tone to the rest of the piece and a little at odds with the bouncy rhythm of the piece generally-that may be just me though. The rhythm you've chosen for this piece has a slightly comic feel for me-I was waiting for the humourous kick in the tail that never came!

I liked the third stanza, thought it was the strongest of the lot. Interesting.
