Little Worm - Thing

This is the first little worm story

Little Worm lives in Mrs Shoe's back garden.

Little worm loves to come out from his little hole in the ground and have a wander round Mrs Shoe's garden. Mrs Shoe keeps her garden very neat and tidy, but one day there was something in Mrs Shoe's garden that Little Worm had never seen before.

Little Worm decided to go and have a look.

By the time Little worm got to the "thing" to see what it was, it was the afternoon!  It had taken him hours to reach the "thing".

He moved slowly to where the "thing" was.

He sniffed the "thing".  "Umm oranges".

He slowly made his way around the "thing" to see if it looked the same on the other side.  It was very shiny.

"Oh"! there was a hole in the "thing".

Little Worm decided he should go in the hole.

ARGH..... SPLISH..... SPLASH..... SPLUTTER..... COUGH..... COUGH.....

The "thing" had fizzy stuff in it and Little Worm had swallowed far too much of it and did not like it in the "thing" at all.  Little Worm came out as FAST as he could.

Hiccup, hiccup, hiccup.  Poor Little Worm.  He was feeling very dizzy from all the fizziness, bubbles of fizz had gone up his nose and he had swallowed some of the fizzy stuff too which had given him the hiccups, and when Little Worm hiccupped it made him bounce up and down.  He did not feel well and when he looked at his body he wasn't his normal colour any more.

He was STRIPY!

Little Worm feeling dizzy and fizzy and stripy, decided he should go and have a lie down underneath a nice bush.

As he was sliding along to one of his favourite bushes he let out a HUGE BURP. He felt a little better after this, but still thought he should go and lie down because he was still a funny colour, still hiccupping and his tummy still felt fizzy inside.

So that's just what Little Worm did, slithered along to his favourite bush, curled up underneath it and fell asleep.

When Little Worm woke up it was the next day. He looked down at his body.

"YIPPEE" shouted Little Worm, he was back to his normal colour and feeling much much better. The hiccups had gone and his tummy didn't feel fizzy any more.

As Little Worm looked at the garden he tried to see the "thing", but it had gone. Mrs Shoe must have moved the "thing" and put it in the dust bin. Little Worm was glad, he didn't like the "thing" and he knew now that he would never go and have a look inside one EVER EVER again.

The End

This is brilliant!

A really attention-grabbing storyline which even I could follow.

What was the orange "thing" by the way - REALLY!

I can't wait to see more like this!!
