No Regret

What happens when friendship slips over the line? Against all the odds, because of the grace of God, we have been able to reset the boundaries and have a stronger friendship as a result.

Line drawn
Never to be crossed
Etched in the shifting sands
Of the heart

The wind
Billows up a storm
Changing the shape of the dunes
For all time

Unseen
Within the whirling dust
The boundary of friendship
Is passed

Carried
By love so powerful
Words cannot express enough
No regret

I liked the way you built the metaphor. Good idea and well executed.

All the best,

Phil.

I agree with the above - good use of imagery with the sand.

Liked this a lot.
