1 Across

This is a poem made up of crossword clues which, if solved correctly, make up a very simple phrase.

1 Across

Me, myself and the first person (1)

What I feel for my best friend,

My dog and goes hand in hand

with kindness (4)

How you'd be if I hurt you,

How I'd be if you hurt me,

You can do this with your eyes

Wink and blink

One...two... (5)

These come straight from

the heart, eye to

hand and hand to

eye. Emotions spill and

then, perhaps, you cry... (5)

Clever Idea Nicely Done
Written by richard ( comments posted) 1st June 2005
I've never seen anything done like this before - it's a clever idea. I'm not a poetry buff, but what I liked about this was that I found myself still thinking about it some time after I had read it. The words are well chosen - none wasted - and give it a nice pace - it is almost as if it needs to be read slowly (like a difficult crossword clue.)

Enjoyed it.
