Very short....

The wind whistled in the still night. Trees swayed to its movement. Street lamps flickered. There was not a soul to be seen but one.

A female fought against the direction of the aggressive wind. She struggled hard but soon fell to her knees. Moaning softly, she wept until not a tear could drop. Cradling herself from the wind, she sang a low tune. Closing her eyes, she slowly dropped to the ground and became motionless.

The next morning, the civilians woke to find much damage to the community. To their surprise, a female body was found lying on the street. Her face was pale and her eyes were wearily closed. They surrounded her and slowly lifted her body.

The body was placed in a small coffin the very next day. Sadly, the civilians gathered around. Her face was very beautiful. It was a shame that she died at such a young age. Eerily, they sensed a low singing in the room. For a silent moment, they listened to the single tune and realized that it sounded like a woman's voice.

Shuddering a bit, they looked around the room. A silver mist seeped through one of the windows and passed around the room. Hypnotized by the sight, they continued to stare until the mist began to fade and disappear.
