Attention to all unflowery writers.

a red box

inside a white box

hung on a wall

and  consider it modern art

an ear on the opposite side of the head

with lips near a leg

hung on a wall

and consider the painter genius

a chord
in a new major
in a new era
and consider it modern music

a line
constructed diffrently
through words not normally used
using their function differently
and consider it poetry

so a line
constructed through no mental filter
through emotion and what comes to the writer
sounding diffrent then other poets
and consider it rotten.

When I said 'flowery' I'm not sure that was entirely what I meant, if the right word comes to me I'll let you know! For what it's worth (not much apparently :) ) I liked this very much, it had an elegant simplicity and certainly makes a point! To my mind, very nice although I would point out that lines 'constructed through no mental filter...' are not always masterpieces!

One typo- diffrently=differently

A thesis work that I can't get myself to call poetry -- verse maybe , if only because of its structure .
