There were three old folk

Think Michael Finnegan, who grew whiskers on his chinnegan etc...

There was an old man called Gerard Connolly,
“Told me keep the screw-cap on Oli,
For when you drink, your talent’s gone Oli”
Wise old Mr. Connolly. C’mon Oli.

There was an old man from far Dingdongalong,
If you sung he’d sure singsong along,
Dropped his Seiko in a billabong,
Why’d he bring the stupid bloody thing along?

There was an old woman name of Witzl,
Got a piercing on her bitzl,
She thought it’d make her love life fitzzle,
But now poor Witzl just can sit still.

Like it! Do we have to imagine what a bitzl is - or will you tell us? Is it printable?

All the best,

Phil.

Hey! I happen to be many decades young!

And as for a bitzl, I'm sure I'd know if I had one . . .

Still, what the hey -- immortalized in a poem! I am honored, without a U.

' See! I am become immortal', cried the ghost of Bryan Boru, on hearing his name spoken by the Seanchai.
' Not so , An Taoiseach', replied Cui Rui. ' Since only your name is spoken by the fireside and not yet in Tir na Nog '.

Slan!
