Lewisa
By Talisker
17 November 2006
Kids don't think about trivialities like paying for things!

Her toddler trot became a gleeful gallop,
Lewisa! Lewisa! Put it back!
The furry, pink, hobby horse refused to stop,
So Lewisa gave her another crack
The shop and mother left behind,
Nothing to stop her now,
Free in space and time and mind,
As fast as little legs allow
She’s mine, she’s mine, she’s mine!

You can just imagine the horror and embarrassment of the parent here and the determination of the toddler to make a clean getaway!

Very good, made me laugh.

HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN -

to little children about "money"? My little 2 year old grandaughter, Jessica, thinks that toys in shops are the same as toys in the playschool - and where does money come into all of this? What a shame that they have to be disillusioned. Well done, and you have shown good imagination with such a subject as this.

Enjoyed this very much Oli. Really caught the joy and imagination of the child in this.

All the best,

Phil.
