I tried to broaden my horizons.
I was looking for friends.
Instead, I found people looking for crutches.
You see, friendship is a two way street.
And, it dead ends if you only go one way.
Which might be why I feel like a hit and run victim.

This poem is well written and can be related to on a large or small scale by a lot of people, no matter how different their experience. It's also very well written.
