Dead End Friendships
By Evangeline
05 June 2005
I tried to broaden my horizons.
I was looking for friends.
Instead, I found people looking for crutches.

You see, friendship is a two way street.
And, it dead ends if you only go one way.
Which might be why I feel like a hit and run victim.

I think this is a good poem - with real emotion showing.
I think a lot of people will be able to relate to it.

I think everyone has, at one stage had a dead and friendship, some painful and others not as much. This poem is well written and can be related to on a large or small scale by a lot of people, no matter how different their experience. It's also very well written. Congratulations and keep being an absoloutely fantastic poet please, I look forward to reading more of your work.
