LA PREMIERE PLUIE

The joy of the first rain...

LA PREMIERE PLUIE

LA PREMIERE PLUIE EST MAGNIFIQUE

PARTOUT IL Y A UN PARFUM DIVIN DE SOL

VOUS SENTEZ COMME VOUS FLOTTIEZ AU CIEL

ET VOUS VOUS PERDEZ EN EXTASE

LES ENFANTS COURENT SOUS LE CIEL

ET CRIENT AVEC JOIE

ILS DANSENT ET CHANTENT

ET ILS SE BAIGNENT SOUS LE PLUIE

LES FERMIERS SONT RAVIS

SOURIENT EN REGARDIENT LEUR JABOTS

IL Y A DU VERT PARTOUT

ET C’EST UN TRES BEAU SCENARIO DU MONDE

QUELQU’UN SE MOUILLE DANS LA PLUIE

ET QUELQU’UN REGARDE A TRAVERS LE FENETRE

COMMENT LA GOUTTE TOMBE DU CIEL

EMERVEILLE DE CE DON DE LA NATURE

MAIS LA PLUIE AMENE LES MALHEURS AUX PAUVRES

ILS PENSENT COMMENT ILS PEUVENT VIVRE

PARCEQUE LE MONDE EST LEUR MAISON

ET LE VAST CIEL LEUR TOIT

AVEC CETTE FORTE PLUIE

ILS N’ONT PAS DE LIEU POUR S’ABRITER

MAIS ENFIN ILS SONT HEUREUX

PARCEQU’ILS SONT SOULES DE LA CHALEUR

LES ANIMAUX SONT TRES AMUSANTS

ET DANSENT HEUREUSEMENT

IL Y A JOIE PARTOUT

ET LA PREMIERE PLUIE EST TRES BIENVENUE

I'm from Manchester so rain is never welcome!

I quite liked the sentiments here but I think you will miss out on a lot of feedback for again writing in French and in capitals.

Il pleu tout les temps a Bolton.

(Apologies for the awful French)

Sorry Johnny. Don't have your talent for languages, can't really comment.

Reminds me of Prévert

I admire the simplicity of expression and the sociological dimension of the stanza on "les pauvres".

Why is this written in French? I suppose it has a pleasant music, but wonder if you wouldn't be better of posting this on French sites, where your readers will be able to understand you.
