Edward Ponsenby-Smythe

Miss Olivia Amanda Pratt

Married, Edward Ponsenby-Smythe.

For, she thought his name was all that,

And, their marriage, for years would survive.

But, Edward Ponsenby-Smythe

Announced, after many a tiff.

That their marriage, was never legal,

As his name...was really...TED SMITH !

great idea
original and zippy
you could lose the comma's
maybe he's Mr. in line 2 ?
quite grand or similar rather than "all that"
all that seems to localise the narrators voice and this isn't a colloquial piece
it's your best yet
