Doggerel, but I hope you enjoy it all the same Wow poetry never finishes, does it? I must have changed the odd word here and there more than a dozen times since posting I saw your eyes undress him slow, I saw your tongue twixt lips a-flick. Your breast, it heaves when his eyes glow And your eyes drop, but far too quick. I felt your heart beat loud as war As once it did when first we met. It skipped whene’er his face you saw And then a sprinter’s pace it set. I heard you gasp in mortal dread When he in peril laughed at fate. I heard you sigh when he, near dead, Turned at the last from heaven’s gate. My hand in yours, in public view To show that we as flesh are one, You gripped more tight when he, on cue, Spoke words of love, his duty done. And though you may with me go home And though your heart it never leaves, Yet still to him your fancies roam. Oh how I hate Keanu Reeves.
