I have a paleography exam coming up. Medieval monks were worse with abreviations than the average internet user... So this is a poem to those monks :-P Black ink on a cow's dried skin Books of vellum, parchment page The next transcription in the bin This boring text drives me to rage O monk, why did you write 1337 ('leet') It didn't exist in your age Did you have to write with speed? Cramming words onto a page Teens use abbreviations They now use the internet But with less variations Then you ancient monks I bet So dear monk transcribe this: imho u should write a faq, 4 afaik ur monk-slang is 2 confusing.
