A poem about why I write My poems I write To share my heart. They’re born in my soul, Each one my child. Quite how they start, I can’t explain. I only know My one true goal. A simple refrain Can say so much! By Cupid’s dart I’m set aglow. A lover’s touch, Or winning smile, My words explain My thoughts impart.
