once bitten

a poem anout falling in love

Once bitten, twice shy, guess that’s what they say

I suppose I’m a hopeless romantic

Cupid’s arrow strikes me yet again

Excuse me for being pedantic

Fallen in love again, now what’s in store?

Bliss followed by tears I’m sure

I take my chances time after time

Certainly for this girl, there’s no cure!

A glance or a smile, I’m hooked once again

A fool with her head in the clouds

A dreamy eyed lass with rose tinted specs

I’m  unique, I don’t run with the crowd!

Sweet little poem. It's of course a subject much has been written about already, but it's nice.
