Ken Confesses

Now this one is even rougher - stand well back everyone Ken's coming out

Classically pretty
pop princess
sidling along corridors
on the way to class
printed school dress rucked up
to expose
perfect creamy thighs.
How could any bloke resist?
Too much temptation
for any red-blooded male
let alone Mr handsome
suave, sophisticated
captain of the football team,
leader of the gang
who smoked illicit cigarettes
beyond the school fence.
How could I say no?
I said yes,
asked her out.
The pristine, perfect couple
holding hands in assembly
sharing not-quite chaste kisses
in the changing rooms.
The facade of an immaculate
golden relationship.
Behind the scenes
not so golden.
She wanted more
than I was prepared to give
and pouted
when she did not get her way.
Not-quite-chaste kisses
were not enough for her.
The last straw
came later on
when she caught me
kissing John.
The secret out
nowhere to go but
smudged mascara
and hysterical theatrics.
I did not care,
relief was sweet.

Elli, this is just brilliant. I am so ashamed of mine now!

This is great, though -- parallel poetry. Like duelling banjos or something. And we've done Ken proud.

Ken - founder of a whole new Gay Pride movement....now there's an image to conjure with!

I liked yours better! You're right, parallel poetry is fun - it's been a pleasure duelling banjos with you Ms Witzl! I am now going to resist the temptation to continue and go to bed!

ps. That's Ken and Barbie sorted - who's next? :)

I enjoyed both of them - as different as they were.
I look forward to your next installment on whoever. (Not sure if this should be whomever, but as they aren't real it probably doesn't matter.)

What just because you lost at cricket? Now you have Ken and Shane on the rug text messaging. ----- Nice work -- Ms Elli (you guys have way to much talent – it’s quite special watching you sound off)

Oh no, Ken and Barbie are Will and Grace!
I'm still puzzled why Ken would be gay though... Just because he's well dressed and doesn't make babies with Barbie?

I remember waiting for a bus with two girls once and in the busstop there was an advertisement for deodorant, showing some half naked bloke.
First these girls started talking about how wonderfully good-looking he was, then one of them remarked that he was probably gay anyhow.
So the conclusion was: good-looking, unreachable guy must be gay...

for the same reason that any woman that doesn't gag for it with me must be a lesbian, I guess.

Really liking this duet (duel?). Competition obviously suits you both.

Enjoyed this one too. Was Cindy the poor cousin from the sticks?

Did ken have the "apparatus" to be anything but an asexual eunuch? Perhaps you naughty girls have been peeking under his action slacks?

Wonderful nonsense - cheering up my yuletide!
