Fidget the Midget (part three)

well, here's another bit.

this started as something i wrote on a post it note for my little boy early one saturday morning. it was not meant to be more than that but it makes a lot of sense to have some sort of story to it i guess.

we had just been reading hairy maclary by lynley dodd. if you know the books, you'll understand. if you don't and you've got kids they are highly recommended - pure genius.

Fidget the midget

             just couldn't sit still

He was jiggling Wednesday

            And he's jiggling still

Down at the lily pond

            He jiggled about

And as soon as he dived in

            He jiggled right out

Ointments and potions

Were tried - they all failed.

And a hot bath with salt in

            Made him jiggle and wail.

"Call for the A Team

            They'll fix him I bet"

Old Uncle Moth said

            "Those Ants are the best"

The children definitely just love this. You've got a bit to go yet: giggle, wiggle, wriggle, squiggle - - - - - - - You could put a few of these words in, as a change to jiggle. I guess you're going to start on "ants in pants" next. I must remember all the above words - - - yes! Good!
glad the kids like it...

thank you for your kind comments.

i completely agree with using the other words. have you read parts one and two? sounds like you may not have done.

so far i have used fidget, wriggle, jiggle, waggle, squirm, zig-zag and more, but, squiggle - brilliant. can i use it?

i have nearly finished this magnum opus (to be honest, i forgot all about it. for a long time i did not know why he was fidgeting). when it is finished, i will post the whole lot.
