Huntingtons Disease

My father has Huntingtons disease and I have a 50/50 chance of having it also. This is just some venting from dealing with that.

My Father deteriorates more each day.

This genetic monster is killing him.

Do I have it also? I wonder every day.

Do I want to know if I do?

Can I live with that knowledge?

Will I live at all?

How can I say how I will react to the news?

Do you think I will kill myself?

Will I kill myself?

Everyone seems to want to know but me.

I am a coward.

And I do want to know.

Difficult to review a piece as personal as this one is. It is certainly powerful - but then how could it not be? Not a lot more to say really other than I hope venting does help you come to terms with this...
