Three Haikus

Hooray for Haikus!

Highway Haiku

I love to stop the
flow of traffic, watch drivers
watch me move the turtle.

Meditation Haiku

Monkey brain slows down,
I breathe softly in the eye
of the hurricane.

Night Sky Haiku

I blow my smoke at
the milky way as I wait
for a shooting star.

Very nice these. I have never tried to write a Haiku - but you make is seem so effortless. It's amazing how much meaning can come across in so few words.

The first of these was, I think , my favourite of the bunch - funnily enough the third was the one I liked least. Enjoyed them

No, not an addict at all...but what I like about them is you can write them anytime, whereas with other forms I have trouble writing without an inspired, well thought out idea. Glad you enjoyed.
