Suicide
By bloodange77
08 January 2007
I wrote this after the girl I thought was my best friend, stabbed me in the back. I still haven't totally forgiven her because she completely betrayed my trust over and over and over again.

Sharp is the blade,
She cries out softly.
Hark, someone hears it,
T'is the prince from her dreams.
But t'is not him,
The prince coming to save her.
T'is Death coming to take her,
To a land of the forgotten.

Grim subject

Obviously it is a grim subject to write a poem about but I too have often wondered what the last thought of someone comitting suicide is. Are they even thinking? Do they still have hope? The reality is, of course, we will never know. Very grim.

Hm... Is this in the right category? I supose it should have been in poetry?
Trying to kill herself wouldn't get her any nearer to her prince. If she dies, there's no chance she'll ever see him again. If she does not die, she'd probably scare him so much he doesn't want anything to do with her anymore.

Where your introduction is concerned: Someone who backstabs and betrays isn't worthy to even think about and certainly not someone to die for. If I were you, I'd make some new friends with people who are more worthy.
