I'm disgustingly lazy with titles. It's exam time again, oh joy. I would be fine if it weren't for the tiny little factor of time. Time A big white circle with black turning hands. Plastic Not a laugh, or a song, No whisper of inspiration. But still, there she is, watching our every move Why should we have to abide by her cold monotonous rules? Every tick followed by tock Like a prodding finger on my shoulder Nagging It doesn’t matter how hard I try, It’s never good enough. When I look away I swear she plays tricks on me. Just to be cruel. How can half an hour go by in five minutes? It’s impossible She knows that better than anyone. She does it on purpose, I know it. But as soon as I look around again She returns to her ticking and her tocking. Just as before. It’s ten to two already. She just smirks at me Smug, knowing that she beat me again.
