Stars

I know in this poem that I'm about to share is full of hopelessness and despair but has inspiring thoughts about LOVE. I wrote this poem during a gloomy night, staring outside my window and saw shining stars.

Stars smiling and shining
But days and years pass by
Stars suddenly die

Love is like the stars at night
Sometimes it brightly shines
It gives light but will never last

Feeling sadness and despair
Love is so easy to spell
But so hard to define

I feel hopelessness deep within
I did my part, what should be seen?
Even though stars die, they give smiles

Okay, your profile suggests English is not your first language and the content of your poems point me towards thinking you are still quite young - early teens?

If this is the case, there is a lot to admire about your pieces. I couldn't begin to write anything that meant anything in another language, now or when I was younger.

Phil.
thanks for the comment, Phil
