First Love #2 - Diane
By Phil
21 January 2007
Infant school, early seventies.

First Love #2 Diane

She used tie my shoe laces.
I used to stroke her hair
As she knelt at my feet.

We used to walk home
Together at lunchtime,
And then she kissed me.

Liking these Phil. Same kind of tone as your school poems - which works as a formula for me.

As always the"used to" sounds so sad. =) I liked it.

I really tend to like shorter poems, the ones so simple and innocent, yet disturbing at night.
