Acrostic poem. Appreciate the simple and free things in life. Colourful skies of every hue, Oceans stretch a beautiful blue. Lands of red and black rich soil, Oats and barley, a farmer’s toil. Undulating hills and plain, Rewards from nature, human gain. Fun and laughter both are free, Ugly, beautiful choose one to be.
Love everlasting for you and me |
We meet again. Written by Marybarry (237 comments posted) 29th January 2007 | Greetings Pasinger, lovely to meet you here. Talisker is also here. I liked your poem. As always a beautiful use of the English language. marybarry | acrostic AND rhyme, wow - Written by fellpony (1717 comments posted) 29th January 2007 | | I thought such things had vanished from the earth. This is great! | Written by Phil (6963 comments posted) 29th January 2007 | With Fellpony on this one - the last line let it down a little. Otherwise a nice poem. I can see this in a certain type of children's anthology. Phil. | Colourful Written by maipenrai (784 comments posted) 29th January 2007 | | A good write which I enjoyed. |
