Colourful
By pasinger

Acrostic poem.
Appreciate the simple and free things in life.

Colourful skies of every hue,
Oceans stretch a beautiful blue.
Lands of red and black rich soil,
Oats and barley, a farmer’s toil.
Undulating hills and plain,
Rewards from nature, human gain.
Fun and laughter both are free,
Ugly,  beautiful choose one to be.
Love everlasting for you and me

acrostic AND rhyme, wow -

I thought such things had vanished from the earth. Not sure about the end, where the sentiment has had to give way to the rhyme/acrostic scheme, but a most unusual form. Well done!

With Fellpony on this one - the last line let it down a little. Otherwise a nice poem. I can see this in a certain type of children's anthology.
