Two Black Lambs
By Talisker
30 January 2007
On impulsive joy and reflective realism.

Two black lambs,
breaking the law
of gravity!

Hop and Skip,
you woolly jumpers!

Cruel Winter,
yet here is life,
irrepressible.

My soul leaps,
but once.
Hard times
to come.

I hope people read this more than once. Such an easy read to scan over and pass over. Have to confess, first reading left me thinking - well that was okay.

It was comment above that made me read again. Second verse is you all over.

Not one of your classic posts Oli, but worthy nonetheless.

Phil.
