An attempt to get inside the mind of a turkey about to be culled.

Also an attempt (by a Scotsman) to write in the Norfolk dialect.  No offence intended.

Av’ oi gorter cum?
S’just that I’m feelin undirt wedder,
Praps oive gorter dozerderfloo.

Oi seez! Nor nergoashable!
Marners isntwotterwoz ist?
Spose oi gotter go den.

Oi! Carnt yet leest torn oven’ton?
Weer choakin in ‘ere!

Highly topical Oli, though I can't comment on the Norfolk (or Suffolk) dialect as it's not my area of the country.

Given me an idea for a pome of me own, though not about turkeys.

Can St, Peter speak Dialect??

Yes,very topical and clever but would turkeys have a Norfolk accent? I think you just about nailed it. I've got a friend who lives in Norfolk but he's Canadian so that's no help
Well done.

I had a friend from Little Snoring in Norfolk - name says it all. Pretty close on the accent I think.

Clever piece,

Phil.
