Under Pressure

Can you answer that phone
before you go home

And now, rather than later,
input that computer data

Do it now and do not stall
return those million telephone calls

Believe me, you'll feel much better
if you quickly write that urgent letter

And before the backlog mounts
just fill in the year's accounts

You know you have my full support
but where's that overdue report ?

Feel free to do it at your leisure
I don't want to add to the pressure

Oh Sara, and by the way,
I need it done by yesterday

Sounds oh so familiar.

Should be emailed to every boss, or better yet, tattooed backwards on their foreheads so they can read it in the mirror each morning.
